We Have No Limits!
With God nothing will be impossible. Luke 1:37 NKJV
The Bible refers to “power and desire,” it is referring to God’s power and desire, a power and desire residing deep within you. Look at this from this perspective: God himself is always willing and working inside of you (Philippians 2:13 NLT).
Your Dream Never Dies
When a dream that you thought you had was from God and now seems so far off or even dead, just remember that we have been given a deep desire and the ability to re-ignite it! We just have to realize that there’s a reason why that dream we have been given won’t let us go. Why? It’s because God put it there in the first place.
We Can Handle More Than We Know
Sometimes challenges or situations seem to consume us and we just want them to disappear. Instead of putting our focus on changing our circumstance, we just need to settle in our hearts and minds that situations will never be too much for us to handle. Why? Because God is always “willing and working” in us and for us for our good. He never said that life on earth was going to be easy or without trials!
You’re An Overcomer Not An Escape Artist!
Actually, Jesus said, “Here on earth you will have many trials” (John 16:33 NLT). Having problems doesn’t mean you’re a fake, or you’re on the wrong path, or even that you’re a failure. No, the truth is far from it. The storm is described as testing both the believer’s and the unbeliever’s house (Matthew 7:24-27). But the believer overcame it. So what’s God’s goal? To make you an overcomer, not an escape artist! “Thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ”(2 Corinthians 2:14 KJV). Yes, God will deliver you, but first He will develop you.
Don’t Let Anything Stop You Fulfilling Your Purpose
By faith look at it through this lense: When we answer His call, it comes with the faith to achieve things we never thought possible. Thomas Edison said, ‘If we did all the things we were capable of doing, we would literally astonish ourselves.’
So don’t let your background, your preconceived ideas, your present difficulties, your past failures, your self-doubt or the opinions of others keep you from becoming all that God wants you to be and to fulfill His purpose and plan for you.
We Create Our Own Limits
Dr. Robert J. Kriegel and Louis Patler said ‘We don’t have a clue as to what people’s limits are. All the tests, stopwatches, and finish lines in the world can’t measure human potential. When someone is pursuing their dream, they’ll go far beyond what seems to be their limitations. The potential that exists within us is limitless and largely untapped. When we think of limits, we create them.’
Focus in on this. Our limits come from within us. We create our own limits! Unfortunately, Israel did that same thing; they ‘limited’ God. “They did not remember His power.” (Psalm 78:41-42 NKJV). As a result, they died in the wilderness.
A Woman of Substance
Amelia Earhart, the first woman to ever fly solo across the Atlantic in 1932, said it like this:
The most effective way to do it, is to do it. Women, like men, should try to do the impossible. And when they fail, their failure should be a challenge to others. Never do things others can do and will do, if there are things others cannot do or will not do. Never interrupt someone doing what you said couldn’t be done.
Ask For The Impossible
We need to never limit ourselves by saying something is impossible, for in Scripture it says, “With God nothing will be impossible” (Luke 1:37). This Scripture is not just a nice sentiment; it’s the absolute truth! So today, set out and ask God what is the impossible that You want me to do.
